CRL Designs.net

My name is Raymond and I’m the creator of www.CRLDesigns.net  I have been working with AutoCAD software as well as other design related software since 1996.  The obsession started with more simple programs like 3D Home Architect and Paint, but quickly morphed into more sophisticated packages like AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architectural Desktop, 3D Studio Max, Vue, Bryce, Adobe suites, etc.  I enjoy creating new designs and helping people with their graphical technology issues.  I decided to create a blog and website to try to reach more people and perhaps share some knowledge or just make new contacts.

I am married to a beautiful wife going on over six years and we have a wonderful three year old son and now have a two month old baby girl.  Finding time to work with my passion, design, spend ample time with my family and work a full time job is difficult; but I try to manage the best I can. 

Some of my other hobbies include working outside in the yard.  I absolutely love landscaping, and while I’m no professional at it, I enjoy the feeling of accomplishment I get when I finish a project. 

I play a lot of tennis also, when I’m not sitting in front of a computer or working in the yard.  I just joined back up to the USTA and have been competing in tournaments around my area.  I actually won one in late august ’09 and look forward to playing in more, as time permits.
