CRLDesigns.net in the News——well——sorta

Some of my more recent work was just on the WTOC channel 11 News out of Savannah, Georgia.  You can see one of my logos that I did for them in the still shot on the player below.  It didn’t of course mention me directly, but it was still nice to see some of my designs and hard work on TV.

I was first contacted about setting up a website for The Old Freeman Family Farm which can be found here.  Once discussions were started about website design and setup, that led into talks of the Farm needing a logo.  So with input from the owners about what features they would like to have on the logo I set to work designing one for them.  After some small revisions we settled on two versions of the logo; one a color version for internet usage like their Facebook Page and the main header image on their website, and the other a simpler version for signs, shirts and printable objects.  Both logos can be viewed in my gallery here.  Then the real work began.  They needed someone to design and layout their corn maze, hopefully one of the big draws for the farm.  Having experience with GPS equipment I volunteered for the task and set to work again.  I had never done anything of this scope before, but two weeks of afternoon work in the 100 degree July heat later, it was finally done and turned out great.  The complete article about the corn maze layout can be found in my blog here. Below is the video from the News Channel and here is the link to the news article where you can read more about the Farm.  Make sure to visit their website to find out hours of operation, attractions and directions.  And as always, if you see something you like or want us to help you with your project leave a comment below or use the contact form to get in touch with us.  Thanks for checking us out!
(Update: 10-19-2011, the news channel is no longer hosting the video, I will try to get another copy and add it back, sorry.)
